Founded in 1993 by Pascal GUINOT and based in Montchanin (Saône-et-Loire department), GUINOT TRAVAUX PUBLICS (GUINOT TP) is a public works company comprising 5 agencies located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, covering the whole of the wider Centre-Est area.
Historically specialised in pipeline work, GUINOT TP now offers a range of diversified and complementary services: networks and pipelines, roads and utilities networks, energy networks, network rehabilitation and industrial services. The company works with public-sector entities (local authorities and public institutions) and private companies. Private-sector customers have come to represent a larger share of its business with the expansion of its industrial services and rehabilitation activities.
Thanks to its recognised expertise, combined with a strategy of geographical expansion and business diversification, the company has posted continuous revenue growth since its creation, with turnover exceeding €40 million in 2020.
Under the guidance of ADVISO PARTNERS, the transaction attracted strong interest from several financial investors. BNP PARIBAS DEVELOPPEMENT was selected to support the company's new growth phase. The arrival of BNP PARIBAS DEVELOPPEMENT as a shareholder will provide GUINOT TP with the means to pursue its strategy of controlled and profitable growth, strengthening its position as a recognised player in the Centre-Est region and enabling it to continue meeting the challenges currently facing the sector (innovation, environmental issues, profitability). The transaction also enables company executives - key drivers of its development - to become shareholders.
