DISTRAIMED, a major player in PDA (Preparation of Doses to be Administered) solutions in France serving pharmacies and healthcare institutions, markets a comprehensive offer under the OREUS brand including pill boxes, software and associated services.
These semi-automated solutions make it possible to secure the medication process, ensure it is traceable from prescription to administration and thus help people follow their prescriptions, a major public health challenge.
Having filed more than 20 patents since its creation and regularly developing new products, DISTRAIMED is seeing sustained growth exceeding 10% a year and, with more than 50% of healthcare institutions not currently offering a medication dosing service, has strong development potential.
Advised by ADVISO PARTNERS, DISTRAIMED's shareholder managers are selling their business to the FARGEOT PODOWELL group, which specialises in the design and manufacture of a comprehensive range of therapeutic footwear and comfort products distributed mainly in pharmacies and medical equipment stores, under the PODOWELL brand. They are also reinvesting in the new group, which will generate more than €20 million in revenue and whose medium-term objective is to double in size by continuing to expand rapidly in both France and Europe.
This transaction also involves a restructuring of FARGEOT PODOWELL's capital with investment by new regional financial partners AQUITI GESTION and SIPAREX ENTREPRENEURS, who have joined forces with SOFIMAC, a long-standing shareholder.
