On 31 January 2019, the SEQUOIA and KONICA MINOLTA groups signed a conditional sale protocol.
Created in Metz by Jean-Michel GUYOT in 2006, the SEQUOÏA group specialises in the distribution and maintenance of printing equipment for SMEs, independent professions and local authorities. Led by its founder, the group, which has expanded through multiple acquisitions, and has become an undisputed leader in the Grand Est region and on Reunion Island. Today, it employs nearly 180 people and generates around €50 million in revenue.
Steered by ADVISO PARTNERS, the transaction consisted of the purchase of 100% of the share capital of the group's companies: SEQUOÏA LOGISTIQUE, EST MULTICOPIE, DYCTAL BUREAUTIQUE, GLOBAL BUREAUTIQUE, A4A3 BUREAUTIQUE, REPRO BUREAU and ALLIANCE BUREAUTIQUE.
At the end of this competitive process, it was the KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FRANCE project, the KONICA MINOLTA branch dedicated to IT solutions, document management and production printing, that drew the attention of the shareholders. Following the agreement signed at the end of January, the takeover of the SEQUOÏA group has now been finalised.
