The RBL PLASTIQUES group, created in 1979 and taken over in 1990 by Jacques LE BOULER with the support of ARKEA CAPITAL, is a key player in plastic thermoforming in France.
Positioned in niche markets and with expertise in fine and thick products, RBL PLASTIQUES offers a diverse industrial clientele a complete range of studies, prototyping, mould design and manufacturing of plastic parts and sub-assemblies. The group also develops and distributes a range of technical tanks for building professionals through its subsidiary COFRELEC INDUSTRIE.
RBL PLASTIQUES has two production sites located in Châteaubriant (44) and Ercé en Lamée (35) which have nearly 120 employees. The group posted revenue of more than €17 million in 2017.
On the occasion of this buy-out orchestrated by ADVISO PARTNERS, Jacques LE BOULER transferred his company to the two buyers, Nicolas MASSON and Ronan JAUNAULT, accompanied by other management team members and by the regional investment fund SODERO GESTION (through Transmettre & Pérenniser structure). Jacques LE BOULER has kept a minority stake in the transaction.
Nicolas MASSON and Ronan JAUNAULT each have more than twenty years' experience in the plastics and composites sectors and until recently managed the professional organisation of the sector, Plasti Ouest. Their aim is to consolidate the company's positioning in terms of fine and thick products and to continue to develop COFRELEC's own products.
