The RIVES DICOSTANZO group, a key player in the South-West region, is selling its industrial vehicle leasing with driver business line to the BERTO group, the French leader in the sector, in order to refocus on its historical activities, relocation and logistics.
Created in 1962 by Jean-Baptiste Dicostanzo, grandfather of current executives and shareholders, and based in Toulouse, the family-owned group RIVES DICOSTANZO is a historical player in transport and logistics. With revenue of more than €25 million in 2016, the group is organised around three business sectors: relocation and industrial transfer, logistics and goods conservation, and the leasing of chauffeur-driven industrial vehicles.
With over 40 years of experience and a fleet of around 100 vehicles, RIVES DICOSTANZO offers an industrial and commercial vehicle leasing service with driver to a customer base of recurring key accounts in the retail, healthcare and construction sectors, mainly based in the South-West region.
Created in 1964 by Emile Berto and based in Avignon, the BERTO group is a family business, the French leader in rental of chauffeur-driven industrial vehicles. It is also involved in the transport and leasing of chassis and multimodal containers. Present in France through its 23 subsidiaries, the group employs nearly 2,500 people and posted revenue of nearly €238 million in 2015.
This transaction will enable the RIVES DICOSTANZO group to refocus on its historical activities, relocation and logistics. The BERTO group will be able to significantly strengthen its regional network, mainly in the South-West; develop its customer portfolio and increase its industrial vehicle fleet.
