The family shareholders of the French leader in aquatic centres buy the stake held by AZULIS CAPITAL.
Founded in the late 90s by the PONTEINS family, the CALICEO group has become the French leader in the aquatic centre business. With six centres in France, the group welcomes nearly 3,000 people every day, or 1,000,000 visitors a year.
The concept brings together balneotherapy and SPA activities within the same framework. Located on the outskirts of large French conurbations in large, easily accessible locations, the centres are built using natural and noble materials.
Thanks to steady growth of +12% per year since 2009 and the last opening of an establishment in Bordeaux, the group generates close to €20 million in revenue for an EBITDA margin of around 25%.
The PONTEINS family will continue to structure and develop the Group in order to allow it to reach a new stage by opening new centres in the conurbations of Lille and Strasbourg and in the Ile-de- France region.
