LAPRO ENVIRONNEMENT, created in 1990, is a pioneer in the design and distribution of equipment for the asbestos removal sector in France.
The group's activities are divided mainly into two business lines:
- the sale of more than 1,000 different items of personal protective equipment, decontamination airlock, machinery (vacuum cleaners, air extractors, etc.) and consumables, distributed under manufacturer brands and under ten or so private labels;
- the rental of a fleet of 800 machines delivered to the site between 24 and 48 hours throughout France.
LAPRO ENVIRONNEMENT also offers equipment repair services through two branches in the Paris (Goussainville) and Lyon (Mions) regions, where the group employs some thirty people.
ADVISO PARTNERS has advised Patrick LAMBREGHTS, founder and executive shareholder of LAPRO ENVIRONNEMENT, on the sale of his shares to the German group SAFETY & TECHNICAL SUPPLY HOLDING, majority owned by the Munich investment fund MAXBURG CAPITAL PARTNERS (€600 million in funds managed).
This transaction enables LAPRO ENVIRONNEMENT to accelerate its development by partnering with ASUP, a subsidiary of SAFETY & TECHNICAL SUPPLY HOLDING and a leader in the distribution of asbestos removal equipment in Germany and Switzerland. Furthermore, this build-up operation enables SAFETY & TECHNICAL SUPPLY HOLDING to acquire a 15% market share in France (the leading asbestos removal market in Europe)
