DOMAINE DU COQUEREL carries out a capital increase with SJATO GABRIEL as part of a minority stake acquisition.
Founded in 1937 by René Gilbert in Milly (14), in the heart of the Norman countryside, MAISON COQUEREL is currently the leading independent producer of Calvados with a market share of more than 11%.
DOMAINE DU COQUEREL also produces Pommeau and is developing a trading activity (Cognac, Brandy, etc.) representing around 20% of its revenue.
With a presence in some twenty countries, MAISON COQUEREL is the largest independent exporter of Calvados. They have been awarded over one hundred awards, including the French President's Grand Prix d'honneur on five occasions, in recognition of the best Calvados cellar.
After transferring the management to his son Pierre, and in order to speed up the development of the brand internationally, the Martin family carried out a capital increase with the company SJATO GABRIEL, owned by the financial investor Siman POVARENKIN, former owner of Green Mark green vodka, during the purchase of a minority stake. SJATO GABRIEL bought Yves Saint Laurent castle in Deauville a few months ago (14).
