A major player in France in drone services for telecoms operators and developers, SEMADRONES is a telecoms consultancy firm specialising in the collection of data by drone and its subsequent processing and analysis.
Founded in 2015 and based in Quincieux (69), the company assists operators and developers in the deployment of their telecoms infrastructures through two main offers:
SEMADRONES relies for these services on a specialised telecoms design office and an in-house team of French Civil Aviation Authority-certified drone operators providing nationwide coverage.
The company is currently working on the launch of an “Inventory and Maintenance” offering specifically targeting Tower Cos. It will support telecoms firms in the various stages of telecoms site development by identifying damaged antennas or other parts of individual infrastructure components to enable predictive maintenance.
Buoyed by deployment objectives for 5G, which requires a much denser territorial network than previous mobile technologies, and 4G coverage of white areas, SEMADRONES has generated annual revenue growth of more than 30% since its creation.
SEMADRONES’ shareholder managers are being advised by ADVISO PARTNERS in a sale and transfer transaction with the PROXYRIUS group, a manufacturer and installer of metal telecoms pylons and infrastructures (INFRAMET) as well as a difficult access work specialist (ALTITECH).
This acquisition will enable PROXYRIUS to round out its integrated services offering to support its partner customers in their deployment strategy through a wide range of complementary solutions, from research, studies and deployment to manufacturing, installation and maintenance.
