GROUPE SAINT AUBIN, founded in 1995, has been led by THIERRY LAFEUILLE since its MBI in 2015 alongside A PLUS FINANCE, BNP PARIBAS DEVELOPPEMENT and the company founder Yves DESBONNET. It specialises in developing, producing and marketing a wide range of frozen desserts and savoury snacks, together with fresh delicatessen products, sold to leading supermarkets and hypermarkets, out-of-home catering channels and bakery/confectioners chains.
GROUPE SAINT AUBIN operates an effective business model based on R&D, involving the continuous development of new recipes. Thanks to its laboratory and R&D team, the Group offers a range of distinctive customised products and can position itself as a long-term partner for its customers.
Backed by revenues estimated at €25 million for 2019, the Group, historically based in Paray-le-Monial (71), has three production sites in the Saône-et-Loire region.
The Group's shareholders, advised by ADVISO PARTNERS, decided to transfer a majority shareholding to CAPZA TRANSITION, marking the exit of BNP PARIBAS DEVELOPPEMENT, A PLUS FINANCE and former CEO Yves DESBONNET from the company's share capital. The aim is to take GROUPE SAINT AUBIN's development to the next level.
"We have worked hard since 2015 to improve our product range, customer relations and internal organisation; CAPZA is now coming on board to give us the resources we need to consolidate our customer-centric innovation. We will achieve this by further optimising the know-how, passion and expertise of our staff to offer the catering industry a range of suitable and customised gastronomical solutions." - Thierry LAFEUILLE, Chairman of GROUPE SAINT AUBIN.
"GROUPE SAINT AUBIN will become a key player in its market by upgrading its production facilities, aligning and reinforcing its governance, and seizing external growth opportunities that will create a high degree of added value for its customers." - Emmanuel BONNAUD, Managing Partner of CAPZA TRANSITION
"We were pleased to advise the GROUPE SAINT AUBIN shareholders in this transaction, which provides the Group, under the leadership of CEO Thierry LAFEUILLE, with a new reference financial shareholder to sustain its robust development momentum." - Gilles COUDON, Managing Director at ADVISO PARTNERS
