Founded in 1987 by Fabrice LABOUDIE, LABORATOIRE DES CEDRES is a medical biology laboratory that operates seven sites located in the Toulouse region and the Gers. The sites rely on an ultra-modern technical facility located in Cornebarrieu in the grounds of the Clinique des Cèdres, one of the leading private clinics in France.
In addition to this partnership, LABORATOIRE DES CEDRES has signed several agreements with health facilities in the region and works directly with individual patients across all its sites, which are all strategically located and provide access to testing 24/7.
LABORATOIRE DES CEDRES, which employs nearly 90 people and generates turnover of around €12 million, benefits from a recognised expertise and experience in the sector, having been the first ISO-certified laboratory in France in 1995, the first laboratory accredited by COFRAC in 2004 and the first laboratory in France to achieve NF EN ISO 22870 accreditation in 2015. It is also the only laboratory 100% accredited by COFRAC under the NF EN ISO 15189 standards in the Toulouse region.
This acquisition enabled INOVIE - the first independent liberal group of medical biologists, with 19 multi-site laboratories in 5 major French regions - to benefit from the operational excellence and strategic geographical positioning of LABORATOIRE DES CEDRES, and thus continue its development in the Toulouse region, where the Group is established notably via its subsidiary LABOSUD.
